iMAR Navigation GmbH liefert Stabilisierungstechnologie für Bundeswehr-Projekt TaWAN
Die iMAR Navigation GmbH aus St. Ingbert wurde für das Projekt TaWAN LBO (Tactical Wide Area Network for Land Based Operations) durch DND Digital als Lieferant für hochpräzise, kreiselstabilisierte Plattformen ausgewählt. Der Auftrag umfasst initial die Lieferung von mehr als 450 Plattformen der Serie iIPSC-PT, mit Abrufoptionen über eine substanzielle Zahl weiterer Geräte.
Die iIPSC-PT-Plattformen ermöglichen eine exakte Stabilisierung der Kommunikationsantennen innerhalb des TaWAN-Systems, das als eine Schlüsselkomponente der vernetzten Operationsführung der Bundeswehr gilt. Dank hochpräziser inertialer Messtechnik, Antriebstechnik und Mechanik gewährleisten die Systeme auch unter anspruchsvollen Einsatzbedingungen eine zuverlässige und kontinuierliche Lage- und Richtungsreferenz.

Die Auslieferung der ersten Geräte ist für das erste Quartal 2026 vorgesehen. Die gesamte Fertigung und Qualitätssicherung erfolgt am Unternehmensstandort in St. Ingbert, wo iMAR seit über drei Jahrzehnten inertiale Navigations-, Regelungs- und Stabilisierungssysteme für Kunden weltweit entwickelt und produziert.

iMAR Navigation GmbH supplies stabilization technology for Bundeswehr project TaWAN
iMAR Navigation GmbH, based in St. Ingbert, has been selected by DND Digital as a supplier of high-precision, gyro-stabilized platforms for the TaWAN LBO (Tactical Wide Area Network for Land Based Operations) project. The initial order includes the delivery of more than 450 platforms from the iIPSC-PT series, with options to procure a substantial number of additional units.
The iIPSC-PT platforms enable precise stabilization of communication antennas within the TaWAN system, which is considered a key component of the Bundeswehr’s networked operational command infrastructure. Thanks to highly accurate inertial measurement technology, drive systems, and mechanics, these platforms ensure reliable and continuous position and orientation references even under demanding operational conditions.

Delivery of the first units is scheduled for the first quarter of 2026. All manufacturing and quality assurance will be carried out at the company’s headquarters in St. Ingbert, where iMAR Navigation has been developing and producing inertial navigation, control, and stabilization systems for customers worldwide for over three decades.
