The family of iPRENA and iPRENA-M are most robust solutions for inertial positioning, navigation, timing (PNT), weapon alignment, vehicle guidance and control. iPRENA-M includes additionally the hardening against gun-fire shocks. iPRENA as well as iPRENA-M ares available in four classes of performance (-II, -IIIA, -III, -IV), details can be seen in the datasheet.
iPRENA-M-II/-IIIA/-III/-IV and iPRENA-II/-IIIA/-III/-IV come with most accurate and most reliable ring laser gyroscopes (RLG), they have demonstrated more than 120'000 hrs field proven MTBF, also in safety critical applications.
iPRENA as well as iPRENA-M come with an integrated GNSS receiver (up to RTK and PPP available) and support also external military GNSS receivers. Also other external aiding sensors like vehicle motion sensors (VMS) are supported.
iPRENA is based on iMAR's proven iNAT architecture and provides the required growth potential for the today's and future's applications in PNT and alignment tasks.
iPRENA is a leading solution also for GNSS denied applications. While the usage of an VMS (vehicle motion sensor / wheel sensor) is commonly used on defence vehicles, iMAR's specific algorithms allow to meet a comparable position accuracy even without a connected VMS (example: test drives on a military truck with iPRENA-RQT-4001 over 100 km during 1 hour without any GNSS and without any VMS lead to a position error of less than 20 m [<< 0.1 %]).

We cannot recommend that integrators or users entrust the success of critical or general missions in inertial navigation, stabilization or control to the heuristic decisions of AI.

This is based on our mathematically and physically precise algorithms, traceable results, our sensor, hardware, and algorithm design, and our production facilities, which are certified to military and aviation standards.
Note: We apply AI methods in signal processing where they provide benefits for the application (e.g., for improving image or scenario analysis). However, our highest priority is mission safety – even in so-called corner cases of applications, where AI is typically not sufficiently trained.
