iMAR's low cost micro IMU: µIMU with integrated aiding sensors and open user interface (iµIMU)
With its iµIMU iMAR presents a low cost micro IMU for multi purpose applications, which is equipped with 3 MEMS gyroscopes, 3 MEMS accelerometers, magnetometer, barometer (altitude), odometer interface and integrated GPS engine. iµIMU supports a plug&play integration into the user application via USB, RS232, RS422 or CAN bus. Signals for synchronization like SYNC_IN and SYNC_OUT are available.
iMAR's iµIMU comes with an EMI/EMC qualifyable power supply input stage, supply voltage is 6...34 V DC at a power consumption of less than 1.5 W.
The iµIMU is available in 3 different configurations:
- hardware, without calibration and without application software; the system is used by those users who want to implement their own software and calibration on the integrated ARM7 core.
- hardware with included calibration, but without application software
- fully calibrated system with ncluded application software (attitude reference software with GPS/Magnetometer/barometer aiding).
